August Newsletter, 2016
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Dear Friends,
Greetings from the height of summer!
Oh, beloved summer. Every year you seem to pass by in a blur. I tell myself I will savor the days, do everything that defines summer to me. I will ride my bike, eat more tomatoes, and freeze and process as much food as I can in an effort to save the taste of your days. I will go to concerts, I will visit the bees and spin honey, and, catch swarms with Phil and Bruce. Before I know it, my summer days and nights are packed, one rolling into the next! Here are a few of my pics of summer…
These are the major things that punctuate summer in my world. Generally speaking, it’s work meets play, and the balance of family. As I sit here in these first days of August I am writing the commitment of my efforts to stay present in summer, even in it’s craziness. I encourage you to do the same. Resist the efforts of advertising to bid us into the next coming seasons and marked dates. We can capture it!
I think many of us can relate to this scenario! In spite of summer and our best attempts to capture it, Debony Salon has been busy with our brides and weddings every week. The staff has and is doing amazing hair and make up! Bringing their best to the game, they rise to the occasion, and amaze me and even themselves, (I believe), with their creativity and spot-on finished looks.
Come see us at Debony, where we are embracing summer! Slow it down. Don’t give up on those good looking toes of early summer. Enjoy a mani or pedi; shine those tan legs up with exfoliation, and hydration, or simply come in and freshen up with a cut, and a Eucalyptus steam towel. And if you see me there remind me: slow it down.
Tulusara in Sanskrit means “moving towards balance”, more on that later…
Yours in Service,
Debony[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
