Note From Debony – September Newsletter
Dear Friends,
Greetings!
With the renovations in the rearview mirror we are really enjoying our new space! If you have not had one of our FarmHouse Fresh Spa pedicures yet, you must come in to treat those summer feet and check out the new pedi area, it really is an amazing experience.
That being said, things have been rolling along at the salon. In the background, behind all the hype of the renovation, Jaime has completed her first year as a stylist at the salon! I just can’t believe it. It seems like only yesterday she was a young girl in my chair at the old salon, with me badgering her to become a stylist. I have known Jaimie since she was a small child, she was my customer at the Cut Off, and I always knew that Jaimie would make a terrific stylist. So after lots of world travel, a solo trip cross-country, and a season in Tahoe – among her adventures – she has finally landed at Debony Salon. I am happy to say we are making our own adventure here, together!
During this past year Jaimie has poured herself into education, refining the skills in areas that she is interested in excelling in. These endeavors have taken her to Vidal Sasoon Academy in Santa Monica, CA; The Aveda Institute in Vermont, where she has taken many classes with on coloring including balayage techniques; as well as Lanza techniques and formulation classes. Not to mention the many in house training classes we have offered.
I would like to celebrate Jaimie this month. Her commitment to bringing her skills to a higher level really shows in the work she is producing. We hope you will join us in congratulating Jaime on being promoted to senior stylist status at the salon! Her list of services and pricing can be found here.
As many of you know we offer tiered pricing, in Junior, Senior, and Master Styling pricing. This allows us the opportunity to offer services at varying price points, making it affordable for all. This approach encourages our team to learn and grow, while inspiring them to gather education to have them reach their personal best in an effort to get to the next level.
Congratulations Jaimie! I look forward to seeing her continued growth. She is an inspiration to me, as her mentor that is a great gift. Thanks for being a great part of this team Jaimie!
Best to all of you,
Debony
